This is for the collector, designer, freelance or otherwise a chance to own sketches and renderings proposed to Jordan Brand athlete. Put together over 4 years from 2002 to 2006, its a must have for aspiring designers.

This is submission for the Jordan Twenty-three shoe. The Jordan XXIII as designed by SCOTT CONCEPTS & DESIGN, INC., is an ode to the greatest player to ever play the game, blended with one of the most anticipated and renowned shoe to be worn in the game.

The shoe I created is called the Jordan 23 Infinity.

The logo is the number twenty three in front the infinity symbol, which stands end on end, with the Jordan signature name directly above the stitch tag bearing the numbers two and three and with the infinity symbol beyond.

Directly below the stitch tag is the year 1984 the infinity symbol and the year 2o3o, the years represent twenty-three years, 1984 to 2007 and then another twenty-three years from 2007 to 2030, hence the twenty thirty’s (2o3o), the sub-name of the shoe and the new period of the twenty-three classic Jordan sneakers.

I started this project approximately four years ago after having the opportunity to coach Pompano area youth in the Eddie Jones Summer Basketball Camp.

The idea was simply to design a shoe, lightweight, durable, able to withstand the rigorous 82 game ball season, 32 game collegiate season, 26 senior high ball games and 15 youth level games,

the text throughout this docket is simple explanations to what the overall design of how the shoe should look, feel, and react to certain or if under conditions as designed for. Technology may and could supersede the descriptive verbiage used throughout this docket for explanatory purposes.

The descriptions do however match the artist sketches and renderings. Provided are rough sketches and several color renderings used during the design process of the 2o3o. The following text can be found in duplicate throughout the renderings numbered and lettered in order of actual design process. For instance number 1. Resilient out-sole will be found on the first rendering, with each successive number following with a description and leading up to the finished model of 2o3o.

In all, the 2o3o Infinity does not compromise design or feel. We feel this design bodes well to what the brand athletes have achieved throughout their careers. This will be the most sought after tennis shoe, we hope to sincerely be part of this history. Thank you for reviewing this design module.

Drawing off inspiration, I sketched a side portrait (far left) of the man who’s shoe I’d create; the mind, the man, the shoe is a later rendering with images of the 599 GTB in the background also used to inspire.
