And who doesn’t like to see their restaurant full on days that would otherwise be quiet? The answer to both questions should be everyone.

Bite BC is a new, Vancouver-based startup with a very clear mission: Saving diners money while at the same time generating more off-day customer traffic for restaurants.

The deal? 50% off the total food bill or 2-for-1 on all food courses. Any exceptions? Restaurants can choose to exclude the deal on Friday or Saturday – the two busiest nights for restaurants. The cost? $3.50 per month or $40 per year – the cost of a dinner for two.

Bite BC is very easy to use. Download our app, find a restaurant using the directory or let the GPS tell you what’s in your area, make a reservation, arrive, check-in, and show the app to the server. Simple! We launched in January 2015 in our home market of Vancouver and you couldn’t ask for a better place to start out. Vancouver is incredibly cosmopolitan, always at or near the top of any list of best places in the world to live, and a foodie’s dream.
