Chess Boxing Global
Own a piece of the next-generation global fighting sport, challenging the smartest and toughest.
Introduction
Chessboxing follows the innovative bootstrapping model which made eSports and Drone Racing a huge success – growing a worldwide passion for a distinct competition into a professional league.
Iepe Rubingh invented chessboxing in 2003, and since then, the sport has been growing organically, establishing communities of athletes and fans in over 11 countries, with more than 100 events held, thousands of fights, and over 500 athletes (including women) practising the sport worldwide.
A chessboxing fight consists of up to eleven alternating rounds of chess and boxing, beginning with a 3 minute chess round, followed by 3 minutes of boxing.
Each chessboxer has a total of 9 minutes for the chess game. Fighters can win by KO in boxing, a checkmate in chess, by the judge’s decision or if the opponent exceeds his chess time limit.
After an angel round we now give the broader community of our fans a chance to own a piece of this sport, prior to our aim of raising a Series A.
