D3 Unified Communications: Allows companies to brand Phone and Unified Communication services under their own name

Business Description

D3 Unified Communications, LLC (D3UC) is dedicated to providing a Cloud-based, White Label Phone and Unified Communications platform for technology Value Added Resellers (VARs) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) that serve Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs).

D3UC’s offering allows these companies to brand Phone and Unified Communication services under their own name. This gives these vulnerable companies the ability to compete with Verizon, Comcast, Cablevision, etc. who are selling competitive cloud-based phone and data services to the VAR and MSP customers. By engaging D3UC, these companies will keep their customers by shifting their sales model from capital driven revenues to managed services revenues and generating recurring monthly revenues with profit margins of up to 100% and profitability of up to 200%. From the White Label Reseller’s success, D3UC will generate a steady and increasing stream of recurring revenues and annual profit distributions for their investors.

Service Details

The D3UC Phone and UC platform is feature, function and price competitive with the major Cloud-based phone services. Our platform enables technology VARs and MSPs to White Label our services, directly compete with the larger phone and cable companies, and realize substantial profits. A White Label Reseller can generate recurring monthly revenue of $50,000+ by retailing each device for $25, simultaneously reducing their own customer’s monthly expenses. White Label Resellers like D3UC’s value proposition because they know D3UC will always be their partner, never their competitor.

Company Background

After working together for eight years and discovering the needs of the technology VARs and MSPs serving the SMB market, Daniels, Dalvi and Dury founded D3 Unified Communications in 2013. The D3UC White Label Cloud-based Phone and Unified Communications platform levels the playing field for technology VARs and MSPs – giving them the ability to compete with the large phone and cable companies by offering their customers phone and UC services that are feature, function and price competitive.

Management

Chuck Daniels, Imran Dalvi and Michael Dury are uniquely qualified to bring these services to this market. They bring over 75 years of experience to D3UC including strong relationships with VARs and MSPs who serve the SMB market, and a wealth of knowledge about Cloud-based Phone and Unified Communications. Additionally, the D3UC Leadership Team has an intimate understanding about building a managed service business from inception (including design, development, implementation and operations). In 2005, the three D’s were the founding CEO, CFO, and CTO of BITS, a Cloud-based converged network solution that provided voice, data, internet, and security services to SMBs in the U.S. Under the same leadership that guides D3UC, BITS signed $100M in new and renewal contracts and built a customer base of 600 locations in 15 states. Daniels, Dalvi and Dury achieved their success by building long-term relationships with the VARs and MSPs by helping them offer competitive, relevant solutions that required minimal upfront capital, generated high profit margins, and resulted in annual cost savings of up to 50% for their existing customers.

Technologies / Special Know-How

The D3UC platform is comprised of six Open Source components that provide all the functionality and scalability of the multi-million dollar Phone and Unified Communications solutions from the large technology providers like Cisco and Avaya. The cornerstone of the D3UC service delivery process is the D3UC Internet Portal, which is branded with the name and logo of the White Label Reseller and provides a single interface into all aspects of the D3UC platform, from provisioning the IP phones to defining the call paths for every Unified Communications device on the platform. D3UC’s proprietary rights are imbedded in the processes, procedures, methodologies, and custom programs that allow White Label Resellers to manage all aspects of a Cloud-based Phone and Unified Communications company, including marketing, sales, installation, training, trouble management and billing.

Markets

D3UC’s target market is the 10,000 VARs and MSPs who sell technology services to the 5 million SMBs in the U.S. D3UC’s offering helps technology VARs and MSPs generate recurring monthly revenue with profit margins up to 100% and allows them to sell their own branded Cloud-based phone service. At a competitive retail price of $25, White Label Resellers have the potential to generate substantial monthly profits – tens of thousands of dollars – depending on the number of UC devices installed.

Distribution Channels

D3UC Distribution Channel is our target market – the 10,000 VARs and MSPs who provide technology services to the 5 million SMBs in the U.S. It is a segment that is struggling to survive and is seeking services to compete with the large phone and cable companies and minimize attrition in their customer base. D3UC’s value proposition involves minimal capital cost, and is price, feature and function competitive with other Cloud-based phone providers.

Competition

D3UC has only ten known competitors who White Label Cloud-based Phone and Unified Communications to technology VARs and MSPs. Although they are already established, they “white label” to the VARs and MSPs while selling direct to the VAR’s and MSP’s customers. This creates a channel conflict and is a major cause for concern among VARs and MSPs who do not want to partner with a company today that could become their competitor in the future.

Financial Model (2015-2019)

D3UC is forecasted to generate approximately $18M in Revenues and $7M in Net Income. D3UC intends to distribute each investor’s annual K-1 share of Net Income 90% in cash.
