Florida has ONE LGBTQ radio show. Can you believe it? Broadcast on iHeartRadio’s 1230AM WBZT out of West Palm Beach and throughout South Florida, streaming live worldwide onwww.GetOutSouthFlorida.com. The show is paid for by its host, Tom Hantzarides (Facebook.com/GetOutSouthFlorida) and several supporters. However, in order to keep the radio show on the air for one year, uninterrupted, iHeartRadio demands payment up front. Your contribution will help achieve this. We will also invest in remote broadcast equipment so the show can be broadcast from anywhere there is an internet connection. We will also be able to purchase equipment to create podcasts that supplement the radio show, as well as create an internet radio show and possible internet TV show. The radio show has had prominent guests and discussed diverse topics. It has been widely accepted by the LGBTQ community in and around South Florida. This will help us expand beyond our current listening area. We do not seek to create a profit, just help in paying for the needs of the show and helping LGBTQ causes and events. We are in need of promotional material to make people more aware of the show. We do not in any way financially support any political candidates, though we do have them on the air.
