injiia – collaboration of artists & charities, showcasing content for great causes

injii is an exciting new platform for artists and entertainers to showcase their original content while also raising awareness and funding for charities. We are a network for social impact, helping talented artists get recognized while also making a difference in the world.

injii is about the world coming together, to engage in phenomenal content, and to get involved in great causes.

We showcase talent from singers, bands, musicians, rappers, dancers, online personalities, comedians, poets, filmmakers etc. and give audience members a once-in-a-lifetime chance to chat with the performer and/or charitable organization live. We do this to help raise support for charitable causes (that the artists chooses) by giving all charities a chance to connect with viewers through phenomenal video content.

Say a public charity raises 100 million dollars during a fundraiser. Awesome, right?! Well, yes — but also, that’s not quite the whole story.

In 2013, $335 billion were raised by all U.S. public charities combined. However, roughly $114 billion were lost in expenses. Needless to say, charities need a more efficient way to raise donations.

Someone should do something about this, right?
At injii, we think so. This next problem is actually part of our solution:

There’s a lot of amazing talent out there that goes under the radar because archives like YouTube and Vimeo have become so flooded with content. And the problem isn’t stopping anytime soon — roughly 4.3 million hours of content are added every month to YouTube.

Artists need a better way to get noticed in real-time and be able to connect with their potential fans.

So, what can be done to fix this?

For viewers, supporters, and donators, think of injii like a TV channel that’s open 24 hours a day.

Similar to scheduled television viewing, injii not only airs artists’ content, but for the first time ever, we enable artists to schedule their own global broadcast time. Our platform allows viewers to discuss video content with artists and causes with charities in real-time.

injii makes the media content experience more personal, to move people, to captivate them, to get them involved in good causes. Our platform provides an environment where everyone in the world is watching content together at the same time, to help solve the major issues we as a people face each day. injii engages viewers by bringing together artists with charities to create content for a cause.

We have incorporated a bunch of unique features into our viewing and donating experience to make injii as effective as possible.

We have developed the first user-enabled time scheduled online broadcast network (patent pending). Content producers can check availability and schedule video content to stream in real-time and their video will be shown on a network similar to television broadcasting.

We already have a handful of requests from musicians and other artists through Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social platforms. If you want to get involved, reach out to us! The best way is to visit our sign-up page at injii.com.

We also reach out to talent agencies, and artists and repertoire managers at record labels to find professional up-and-coming artists and entertainers.

All content on injii is short, 2.5 minutes. This will allow us to feature many artists and keep the viewer’s attention.

Every artist on injii will have a user profile they can share with their followers and fans. The profile includes your scheduled content air-times. injii promote you, you promote injii and together we support great charitable organizations. By cross promoting content for causes — everyone wins.

The primary incentive is to get discovered on a grand scale and to help raise funds for a great charity. We also compensate artists for traffic they bring to injii. (stage two launch)

While content is being played, viewers have a live interactive feed: one about the artist and one about the charity they are supporting and what they do. From there, viewers can donate however much they want to the charity. The more you give the more perks you receive and more importantly the more you do to make a difference in the world.

So how does this benefit the charity?

  • Help charities raise awareness and funding for their cause
  • Give artists and charities their own customizable profiles
  • Every dollar raised through donations (minus standard payment processing fees) will go directly to the charity…injii does not take a cut
  • Help brands and companies positively market their products and services on the injii platform directly and seamlessly

Artists can talk to viewers, viewers can talk to the charities, charities can talk to artists — everyone gets the voice and platform they deserve on injii.

Sound great? It gets better: we only accept original/new content from artists and entertainers. injii is platform to release new content in real-time and we aren’t a typical online content publisher. We are about showcasing content on injii first before it goes out to other sites like YouTube, Vimeo, and all those other guys.

Nothing!

For artists and entertainers, since we are broadcasting content instead of archiving it, we can showcase content of at least 300 artists daily, and we are getting their content out there on a global scale for instant virility.

injii is a free platform for artists, entertainers, and viewers. We only ask from viewers to donate a dollar or two if they appreciate the content or the work of the charity being endorsed.

injii is clean, curated, and family safe so everyone can watch, at anytime, anywhere in the world.

injii launches January 1st! It is the new year and new way for charities to receive their donations from costly fundraising events. Performers join the new era of content delivery by breaking away from the mass amount of old content polluting the web.

In the meantime, we are enhancing the injii platform experience, beefing up the user, artists, and charity profiles and curating some extrodinary original video content. We are also developing the injii platform on TV casting devices, as well as building complimentary native applications on IOS and Android.

We are gaining awesome traction on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, with a current growth rate at about 80 new engaged followers each day. About 70% of these followers are artists and entertainers that are able to contribute phenomenal content to injii.

We are also currently in the Catalyst Startup Incubator Program at SoftLayer, an IBM company. Their selective program provides tremendous mentoring and technology infrastructure for startups.

During December we launch the 25 days of injii broadcast, we reach out to selective US cities to help raise awareness and donations for their local charitable organizations through content from their local artists and entertainers. More details to come on injii.com and twitter.com/injiii .

Justin Paul, Founder
Oversees all business operations, platform development, growth strategy and the injii vision.

Justin has been a bootstrap, startup hustler since age 12. Before the days of Napster, he used IRC to sell pre-released CDs at his middle school. He started working full-time when he was 14, and while still in high school, convinced the company president to give him his own sales team. He trained, supervised, and engaged a team of people twice his age to work hard, drive home results, and make commissions.

During college (Pace University, BBA Accounting), he worked full-time as an intern at a startup company. Fast forward 10 years and he now manages all the operations and client services of that startup.

With injii, Justin hopes to improve the lives of millions of people and really take a shot at global impact. If he can connect the right people together, he can make the world a slightly better place to live. Isn’t that something worth fighting for?

Live streaming social media startups like Meerkat, Snapchat, and Periscope are the new age of social interaction. User-generated content platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, and Livestream are becoming a replacement for small-medium sized television networks, with more viewers, and brand sponsored advertising revenue.

Nielsen ratings shows that as of May 2015, prime broadcast TV in the U.S., 4 out of the top 10 shows are artists and entertainer based — Dancing with the Stars, The Voice, The Voice TUES, and the Billboard Music Awards.

Major charitable organization benefit concerts such as Stand Up 2 Cancer, Global Citizen, and Charity: Water are all increasing venue size and donations raised each year. Furthermore, a new trend of social impact based media such as the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is emerging.

The time is right. The stage is set.
Let’s Rock!

The market is right, charities are sick of throwing away ⅓ of all funds raised, and too much talent is going unseen or heard.

We have the patent pending technology to do time allocated scheduling (TAS) based video broadcasting. We are building a user generated broadcast with user generated content.

injii will be the outlet for all artists and entertainers to release their new and original content due to the scheduled broadcasting nature of the platform. This way, when they say “my new track releases at 8pm,” it actually releases at that specified time that is exclusively allocated for the artists.

We allow fans to be the first one to see a performance of their new favorite artists and to be involved in something larger than the content itself.

Our ads are much more personal, sponsored by a brand that cares about the cause, and deliver a positive experience. Viewers come in inspired because of this.
