The facility is consistent with the overall economic development strategy in Ozaukee County, which includes adding good paying, non-seasonal jobs, strengthening its health industry cluster to diversify and stabilize the local economy, and building upon the natural strengths of the community (demographic trends, climate, and retiree-friendly atmosphere). Once fully operational, Rising Sun Assisted Living will add full-time equivalent jobs and more than $750,000 in annual wages and compensation to the local economy.
