SLU MSA 2016 Winter Conference

SLU MSA WINTER CONFERENCE:

We-the MSA at Saint Louis University-need your help to make our 8th Winter Conference a success! SLU MSA’s Conference is one of the largest MSA events in the Midwest!

For the past 7 years, we have hosted a conference in which we invite scholars from all over the country to speak and share knowledge with the greater St. Louis and Midwest community.  Past scholars include:

• Dr. Altaf Husain
• Mufti Abu Layth Al-Maliki
• Shaykh Abdul Nasir Jangda
• Ustadh AbdelRahman Murphy
• Ustadh Wisam Sharieff
• Ustadha Yasmin Mogahed 
• And more! 

The weekend is filled with lectures, opportunities to meet one-on-one with speakers,multiple meals, entertainment, a bazaar, and more. This year, the conference will take place on January 16-17, insha’Allah.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

This year, our usual funding allocated by the university was significantly reduced. As such, we need your generous donations to make the conference possible this year!

***For every $100 donated, you will receive a free weekend pass, valued at up to $30***

All donors will have the option to have their names listed in the program booklet.

The Muslim Student Association at Saint Louis University is a group dedicated to unifying the Muslims on SLU’s campus through the common thread of faith.  We also aim to educate others about Islam, while hosting multiple social, religious, and interfaith events to engage both Muslims and non-Muslims at SLU.
