About this project
These earrings are created using beautiful watch innards. These rare small round movements are both 17 jewels, with 5 jewels showing on each piece. They are 5/8 inch in diameter. These are very fun and unique!
These unique cufflinks I made from matching real vintage Russian watch movements (from between 1950-1970). They are approximately 3/4″ in diameter and come on a 3/4″ long cufflink stud with rotating cross bar.
Handmade Steampunk inspired tie clip bar fashioned with a vintage ruby jeweled watch movement with beautifully exposed gears.
Risks and challenges
I am confident that I can approach this project with minimum risk. I’ve made lots and lots of these items, so I know how to work efficiently and produce quality work.The process was a great lesson in how to approach the technical difficulties that come with the manufacturing of handmade goods.
