BOSTON — The Soho Loft Media Group sponsored the meeting of disruptive ideas about the real estate industry last 16 October 2014 in Boston.

The DisruptCE is designed to create an environment where people with disruptive ideas get to meet investors and developers to create potential partnerships. The bigwigs of the real estate industry converged from 1pm to 7pm at the District Hall in 75 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA.

David Drake, Founder and Chairman of Victoria Global, LDJ Capital and The Soho Loft Media Group, says, “It is through these events that real estate entrepreneurs and investors will understand the dynamic changes the real estate world is witnessing today. Real estate crowdfunding is all about technology meeting the needs of the real estate industry.”

Traditionally, real estate is a brick and mortar place, quite literally, with very little intervention of technology. DisruptCRE aimed to bridge the gap between developers and investors and unfold the long-term benefits they will reap from it. Nearly $743 million (http://www.thenewsfunnel.com/blog/real-estate-tech-startups-growing-leaps-and bounds#sthash.b0jTn1H0.dpbs) has been invested into the field of commercial real estate technology.
