Work It Out! Studio specializes in personal training, injury management and sports massage, while also helping a large senior demographic with medical rehabilitation
Personal Story

Fitness and nutrition has always been a big part of my life. After battling cancer for five years, I personally identify with the importance of staying healthy, and being fit, for a better quality of life.

I have contributed to the fitness industry since 1988. My first teaching experience began with the Sports Club of El Dorado, in Shingle Springs, Ca. Once I committed to a career in fitness, I accepted the Sacramento Group Exercise Director position for 24 Hour Fitness. I was responsible for the Group X programs for five area clubs. Intermittently, I also taught fitness classes for corporations, with on-campus gym facilities, like Intel and Hewlett Packard.

In 1998, I started Get Fit with Melody mobile fitness, and it has since been my dream to open a studio. I achieved that dream on November 15, 2013 when I started WORK IT OUT.

Business Description

I began a career in fitness and health because my parents did not enjoy good health. I decided to help others through education and hands-on healing. I want to make a difference in people’s lives.

The studio specializes in personal training, injury management and sports massage. I assist clients in sports performance, but I also help a large senior demographic with medical rehabilitation after surgery, and with general ease of movement.

I want to upgrade my fitness room to accommodate more clients, and create a class format but because of a medical bankruptcy, I am faced with a credit challenge.

I started this business from nothing. Today, I have over 200 clients and I won a Best of the Best award in 2014.

What is the purpose of this loan?

I would like to upgrade the fitness room so I offer memberships. I created a line of essentials oils, and need to purchase the first inventory.
